In each part, there is also a practice video where I guide you through the tasks of that section. The tasks of the last part include videos and step-by-step instructions for creating jewelry patterns.

My name is Riina Laine and I am a body painting artist and makeup artist. I have been working in my field for 22 years and have experience in all areas of makeup. But my special skill and probably the love of my life is body painting. Living and breathing art that enchants people of all ages.
My passion for this art form has taken me all the way to winning the World Championships in body painting, and my goal is to get more and more people to discover the magic of these paintings. I have been teaching face and body painting for years, holding workshops both in Finland and abroad.
But it wasn't easy for me at first either. Back in the day, many assumed that because I was a makeup artist, I could of course also do face painting. Guess what, I couldn't. Face painting is a completely different thing. I wanted to learn, but I couldn't figure out what to paint, how, with what, etc. Whenever someone asked me to paint, I got really stressed and the attempts were frankly terrible. Although having a background as a makeup artist was an advantage in terms of being able to handle brushes, it definitely didn't mean that I could create beautiful face paintings with them."
"But because I wanted to learn, I decided to start. I researched products and began testing them. I tried to look at pictures and think about how those paintings were made. I watched foreign instructional videos, but somehow I couldn't start with the right patterns and instead chose patterns that were too difficult right from the start. I got frustrated.
Fortunately, I ended up at the body painting festival in Austria and took workshops where I found a couple of good online courses that allowed me to follow the techniques of experienced artists.
